Can’t stop, try as I might
keeps hope in sight
i have the right

Its our peace of mind after all.
Why i write? yeah ..all reasons you said and more, reading what Amanda said i totally agree, it happens to me all the time, laying in my bed and the thoughts jump in in a built up poem that never leaves my mind until i crawl off to write it down, keeping papers & pen handy sometimes work too..:)
but it is a lovely read here..thank you for sharing..:)

I have the same problem, wake up in the middle of the night and no way I can switch my mind off…sometimes I dream about something and that becomes a poem…notepad normally next to my bed does the thing but these days I start writing when I wake…for the last couple of months I wake up at exactly 3.33am….(I know) strange but I know it’s just my internal clock working overtime..(Chronohabituation) …I am so happy you write my friend….for you touch me with every post 🙂 Much love Heartspell xxxxx

There is something about writing that permits one to sleep better…well sometimes…I often keep pondering over the words at night…I’ve always done that…so…glad someone sleeps well. 😉
I try to write in the morning… my only problem is when I wake up in the middle of the night and my brain decides it is time to turn on with thoughts of my children or an idea for a poem, then I’m wide awake…. 🙂 Heartspell
