Blue is my inner tattoo
though sparkling brights reflect from you
But if you unzipped my skin
I fear you would become gray
and the rainbow that is you
might simply fade away
So, seep back in
with your every hue
puncture my heart
and surround the blue
Lovely words – especially likes these ones “puncture my heart and surround the blue”.

Thank you for reading here again. 🙂
I detect a sad note in this poem.
Blue is the colour i feel most though not my favourite.
I wonder if colour can say something about the kind of person we are
Excellent poem Heartspell
Very perceptive….and thank you for these thoughts… I do love the color blue; although I think of it differently as blue sky, blue water, blue flowers, versus blue me or feelings of blueness….bright versus dark shades of it; if that makes any sense to anyone but me.
I really like this one, makes me ponder.. 🙂
Thanks,
Peace to you,
Laz
