I felt a coolness in the air today
I made a request for it to stay
It felt so nice against my skin
I thought this breeze could be my friend
I felt a lightness in my heart
A great way for the day to start
On my bike, I became young and carefree
when friend breeze, chose to come along with me

The cool breeze does make you feel so alive doesn’t it…sort of like a kid again! I know that it reminds me of going out to play as a kid when I feel it.

You know what I was thinking as I was reading the first few lines, I know this feeling, I get it while I am walking every night around the school parking lot.. I’ve read few rhymed poems for this rally which is nice ’cause it helps me with my own rhymes (I know I’m being off tangent) Anyway. back to the poem. it’s aptly themed, fall and being all that. reminds me of the autumnal equinox (which I didn’t get to experience cause I live in a tropical country).
